The Basics of High Volume Data Printing
![]() |
There are many companies who require high volume data printing. Corporations, banks, hospitals and more all need a way to produce the printed material they need quickly and accurately with a minimum of hassle. To meet such demands there are a variety of options available. Most of the time, organizations who require this type of printing purchase machines equipped to do the job. The printers used by large companies are quite different than those used by small businesses and home users.
One way that these large capacity printers differ is the price. While you can purchase a printer for home or small office use for less than $100, a high volume capacity printer may cost thousands of dollars. But what do you get for those thousands of dollars? Most of the time, you'll get a sophisticated printing machine that can handle a staggering number of documents. For example, the Xerox 4110 Enterprise Printing System can handle a wide variety of different documents like bills, invoices, statements, brochures, reports. And it can do so to the tune of 80,000 to 350,000 pages per month!
Xerox is definitely a leader in the world of high volume print jobs. They offer a wide variety of printers that can handle incredible numbers of documents each month. Another example is the DocuPrint 425 prints hundreds of pages per minute and can handle a mindblowing eight million pages per month. Not to say that Xerox is the only game in town. On the contrary, there are plenty of other manufacturers who offer large capacity printers as well, including HP and Canon.
Of course, you can also hire high volume data printing companies to take care of your printing needs. This is the best option for someone who has a one-time large volume printing need and doesn't want to spend a fortune on a printer they don't need to use all the time. There are a variety of companies around the globe that provide such services. To find one in your area, check your local Yellow Pages or look on the Internet. You'll find that not all companies have physical locations but operate strictly online. Others offer the benefit of a physical location as well as handy online ordering for the highest level of customer convenience.
